Ken Winschel is currently in his fourth year as the Assistant Band Director at Marquette High School and Crestview Middle School in Chesterfield, MO. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri- St. Louis, earning his B.M. in music education. Mr. Winschel has also studied euphonium at the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance.
Mr. Winschel is an alumnus of the Madison Scout Drum and Bugle Corps, having marched for three summers. He has played in several ensembles in the St. Louis area, and currently performs with the St. Louis Brass Band.
Mr. Winschel also maintains a private studio of a variety of brass students. His students consistently perform in All-District and All-State ensembles and continue to receive “exemplary” ratings at festivals.
Mr. Winschel is a proud father and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends.
